Atelier 111 led the conceptual spatial and identity strategy for Expo 2, a Class A flex campus redevelopment acquired by The Luzzatto Company in 2018. Originally an industrial structure, the building was reimagined as a refined creative headquarters environment—balancing structural authenticity with contemporary workplace design. Located directly across from the LA Metro Expo Line’s Crenshaw Station, Expo 2 embodies transit-oriented adaptive reuse, transforming former warehouse infrastructure into an integrated campus experience. The redevelopment introduced expansive outdoor decks, customized interior facilities, and a dedicated private parking garage, aligning flexibility with performance-driven architecture. Atelier 111’s role centered on shaping the building’s experiential cohesion—aligning architectural interventions, circulation, environmental branding, and spatial identity into a unified framework. Material clarity, daylight access, and open-plan adaptability reinforce the building’s industrial roots while elevating it for modern creative use. Today, Expo 2 serves as the global headquarters for GOAT, an international online retail platform—demonstrating the project’s success as a high-performance, transit-adjacent creative campus rooted in adaptive reuse and forward-thinking design.
