As the in-house creative studio for The Luzzatto Company (TLC), a real estate development firm focused on adaptive reuse and urban reinvention, Atelier 111 leads the conceptual and experiential direction of redevelopment projects across residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial sectors. From early-stage visioning through architectural intervention and spatial identity systems, we define how buildings are positioned, perceived, and inhabited.
Our practice is rooted in intention-first design. Function and spirit are not opposing forces—they interweave. Circulation, material integrity, acoustic atmosphere, daylight, and human movement are considered alongside presence, memory, and emotional resonance. Influenced by principles of wabi-sabi and material honesty, we design spaces that reveal themselves over time—environments that feel lived in rather than imposed upon.
Beyond development work, Atelier 111 maintains an independent creative practice exploring the metaphysics of space. Through experimental installations and research-driven spatial studies, we examine how light, sound, proportion, and texture influence perception and human behavior. This investigative process informs every commission, ensuring that each project carries depth as well as precision.
